WWMD Superlatives

Winners of a WWMD Superlative Award will be chosen directly from data submitted to the database.
The winner of the Rapid River Award will be determined through information supplied by LaMotte Company.
Winners of a Superlative Award will be notified in February 2010. Descriptions of the five awards offered are as follows:
Penguin Award
This award goes to the individual or group that reports the lowest air temperature to the database. In order to qualify, the time of monitoring must also be reported.
The winner of the Penguin Award will receive one WWMD t-shirt for every person reported at the monitoring site.
Oasis Award
This award goes to the individual or group that reports the highest air temperature to the database. In order to qualify, the time of monitoring must also be reported.
The winner of the Oasis Award will receive one WWMD t-shirt for every person reported at the monitoring site.
Fish School Award
This award goes to the individual reporting the highest number of participants at a single site. In order to qualify, all participants must be reported within one data record. The award is intended as a reward for the individual or group hosting the largest WWMD event.
The winner of the Fish School Award will receive one WWMD test kit for every 20 people reported at the site.
Busy Beaver Award
This award goes to the individual reporting data from the largest number of sites (each site counts once—even if there are multiple data records attached to it). The award is intended as a reward for the individual or group that has covered the most ground.
The winner of the Busy Beaver Award will receive one WWMD test kit for every 20 sites monitored (and reported).
Rapid River Award
This award goes to the individual or organization that purchases the largest number of WWMD test kits. If multiple people are purchasing kits on behalf of a single organization, please be sure to provide the organization's name when ordering.
The winner of the Rapid River Award will receive one WWMD test kit for every 20 kits purchased.
